Job Summary

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations at our concrete products facility. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong technical knowledge in electrical systems and manufacturing processes. The supervisor will manage production staff, ensure quality standards, maintain safety compliance, and drive operational efficiency to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily factory operations to meet production schedules and targets
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products
  • Implement and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and inventory requirements
Technical Supervision
  • Read, interpret, and implement electrical drawings, panel wiring diagrams, and logic circuits
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to machinery and electrical systems
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Ensure proper functioning of all production equipment and machinery
Team Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and develop factory floor staff to maintain high performance standards
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations
  • Manage work assignments and shift schedules effectively
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and productivity
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Quality Control
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications
  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections
  • Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Maintain detailed quality records and documentation
Safety and Compliance
  • Enforce all safety regulations and company policies on the factory floor
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Ensure all staff are trained on safety procedures and use of protective equipment
  • Investigate accidents or incidents and implement preventive measures
  • Maintain compliance with local labor laws and environmental regulations
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage
  • Document any incidents, quality issues, or operational challenges
Inventory and Materials Management
  • Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement
  • Ensure efficient utilization of materials to minimize waste
  • Track material consumption and maintain inventory records
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction
  • Implement best practices in manufacturing operations
  • Suggest and execute initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in supervising manufacturing operations
  • Must have experience in the construction industry or related manufacturing sector
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical systems, panel wiring, and logic circuits
Technical Skills
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical diagrams
  • Understanding of panel wiring, control circuits, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: AED 3,000 - 4,000 per month (based on performance and commitment)
