Facility Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Facility Management Specialist to oversee the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of our facilities and sites. The role involves managing maintenance activities, health & safety compliance, and third-party service providers to ensure uninterrupted operations and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facility operations, including buildings, offices, camps, yards, and infrastructure-related facilities
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Oversee MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) through internal teams and external contractors
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and enforce PPE and safety procedures
- Coordinate fire safety, emergency response, and incident reporting
- Manage vendors and service providers (cleaning, security, MEP, waste management, etc.)
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service quality, applying corrective actions when required
- Review and verify service reports, invoices, and contracts
- Maintain accurate FM documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, site teams, and management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
- FMP (IFMA), IWFM, or equivalent recognized Facility Management certification
- NEBOSH IGC or strong Health & Safety certification (IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum)
- Solid understanding of MEP / HVAC systems (supervisory level, not hands‑on)
- Proven experience in vendor and contract management
- Minimum [3-7] years of experience in Facility Management (construction, infrastructure, camps, or corporate facilities preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FM standards, compliance, and best practices
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in urban infrastructure, construction projects, or large multi‑site operations
- Familiarity with GCC regulations and safety standards (KSA / UAE preferred)
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and remote sites
