Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced F&B Cost Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling food and beverage costs to ensure profitability and efficiency. This role involves preparing various reports, conducting inventory reconciliations, and coordinating with the F&B operations team.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 4+ years of experience in the field of Finance, Accounting and F&B industry.

Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional course is an added advantage.

Cost Controller Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on purchases, sales, COGS, and stock status.
  • Follow up with the F&B operations team to ensure accurate batch production and inventory status.
  • Coordinate with restaurant managers and chefs to manage inventory levels in SAPAAD.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations at the month-end.
  • Perform recipe costing and updates as needed.
  • Recipe, articles and sub recipes adding/updating in Sapaad.
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss reports and other deliverables on Fridays.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required by stakeholders.
Finance Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures for divisions, ensuring accurate reconciliations of sales, inventory, and expenses.
  • Prepare balance sheet schedules related to prepayments, accruals, deposits, advances, etc., for F&B and other divisions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
  • Post monthly sales of ANA, TAV Dubai Mall, and TAV Dalma Mall in D365 based on Sapaad.
  • Prepare the Order to Buy Report by the 1st of every month.
  • Compute the monthly F&B staff tips file.
  • Handle external audit requirements for 2023 and 2024 for F&B and other entities.
