Job summary

A leading technology firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced Editor Developer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years in software development, with strong skills in Agile methodologies and Angular. Responsibilities include implementing user stories, engaging with product and technical leads, and participating in agile ceremonies. Excellent communication skills in English are essential. This is a fulltime position with no remote work.

Work experience:

• 5 to 8 years work experience in software development

Minimum education level:

• Bachelor of Computer science degree

Must Have

• Knowledge of Agile development methodology
• Working experience in software frameworks core Angular.
• Working experience with MongoDB and CosmoDB
• Working experience with Microsoft Azure services to build PaaS solutions. Must be able to create and support Azure solutions using resources such as SQL API management key vault functions app services etc.
• Working experience using Azure DevOps
• Excellent logical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Key interactions:

• Scrum master for providing daily updates on assigned tasks.
• Product Owner for refinement of user stories
• Technical lead for technical enablers and solutioning
• Development team for estimation planning retrospective etc.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies daily standup sprint planning review demo refinement.
• Refine the user stories with Product Owner and technical lead.
• Estimate user stories during refinement and sprint planning.
• Split the user stories into tasks as needed.
• Implement the user stories by writing clean efficient code that meets defined acceptance criteria.
• Write and execute unit test cases that are shared with the testers.
• Produce software documentation for reference.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects found in QA UAT Preproduction
• Support/fix defects found in production as needed.
• Synchronize daily activities during the daily standup meetings.
• Solicit Product Owner for additional information as needed.
