Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a premier restaurant in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The Executive Chef will be responsible for the overall leadership of the kitchen staff, ensuring that the highest standards of quality and performance are met. The ideal candidate should have vast culinary experience, be creative and inventive in their approach to food preparation, and have a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop menus, recipes, and cooking techniques according to customer feedback and current trends.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen including food preparation, staff management, ordering of supplies, inventory control, food quality assurance and safety.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recruit, train and develop kitchen personnel to ensure all duties are performed effectively.
  • Plan schedules including shifts for kitchen staff.
  • Control budgeting for food purchases and kitchen supplies.
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers for quality ingredients at competitive prices.
  • Ensure team members comply with company policies & procedures.
