Position Title: Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to the Director
Location: Dubai, UAE (with periodic travel to Tanzania, India, and other markets)
Reports To: Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to support the Director in managing diverse, multi-sector, and multi-country operations. This role extends well beyond traditional administrative duties—it requires a strategic, execution-focused professional who can serve as an extension of the Director, ensuring priorities are delivered, initiatives remain aligned, and projects progress seamlessly across regions.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with operational oversight, acting as a central coordination point and trusted advisor for all business activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic & Business Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between the Director and senior leadership teams. Track, monitor, and ensure execution of the Director’s strategic priorities. Prepare briefs, reports, and decision-support materials. Coordinate cross-border projects and ensure alignment of operations across geographies.
  • Operational Support: Oversee ongoing projects, investments, and operational deliverables. Manage schedules and priorities, ensuring optimal use of the Director’s time. Draft high-quality reports, board notes, presentations, and communication materials. Support contracts, agreements, and external partner discussions as required.
  • Communication & Relationship Management: Represent the Director in meetings, when delegated. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including business partners, banks, consultants, and government bodies. Ensure consistent and effective communication across divisions and teams.
  • Administrative Excellence: Manage travel, events, and logistics for the Director. Organize meetings, prepare detailed minutes, and follow through on action items. Handle confidential documents with utmost discretion and integrity.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Min 8 years in a similar role (Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant to C-suite, Strategy Manager, or Business Coordinator).
  • Industry Knowledge: Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, trading, or investment groups preferred.
  • Location: Based in Dubai; must be able to travel internationally, especially to Tanzania and India.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong organizational and project management capabilities. Excellent communication skills (English required; Swahili/Hindi an advantage). Financial and business acumen to interpret reports and provide recommendations. Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented approach. High integrity, discretion, and loyalty.
