POSITION SUMMARY

Meet with the group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions to make introductions and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. Read and analyze the banquet event order to gather guest information, determine proper setup timelines, and identify specific guest needs such as buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on these arrangements to ensure compliance.

Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, and develop positive working relationships with others to support team goals. Ensure adherence to quality standards. Read and verify information in various formats, visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects, and perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and object handling up to 25 pounds. Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move over uneven or slippery surfaces, including stairs and ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related experience.

Supervisory Experience: None.

License or Certification: None required.
