Job Title: EV Specialist
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Overview

The EV Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electric vehicle high‑voltage systems while ensuring safety precision and compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair EV systems, including batteries, BMS, inverters, converters, traction motors and REEV components.
  • Perform HV safety procedures, isolation testing, CAN diagnostics (Controller Area Network) and fault analysis using OEM tools.
  • Execute software updates, firmware flashing and ECU calibration such as fuel mapping, ignition timing and boost pressure to achieve the ideal balance of performance, fuel economy and emissions.
  • Conduct battery health checks, monitor State of Health (SOH) and State of Charge (SOC) and maintain cooling systems.
  • Ensure compliance with high‑voltage safety standards and workshop protocols.
  • Support telematics OTA diagnostics (remote wireless monitoring and troubleshooting of software firmware or hardware components) and ECU communication troubleshooting (checking for lost power/ground).
  • Train technicians on EV systems and safety practices.
  • Prepare diagnostic service and warranty documentation.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands‑on experience with EV high‑voltage systems and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) procedures, BMS, power electronics and safety compliance.
