Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of UAE experience as an Estimator / Cost Controller in civil construction or contracting.
• Familiarity with quantity take-off tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of contracts and cost control principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and price comparisons for civil construction projects.

The company delivers a wide range of building and industrial projects across the UAE and is looking to strengthen its team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and price comparisons for civil construction projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess scope and quantities.
• Support tendering and post-tender clarifications in coordination with the engineering and projects teams.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and variations, highlighting any cost deviations.
• Assist in preparing cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections.
• Coordinate with procurement for material and subcontractor pricing.
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier price lists, and historical cost records.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2 to4 years of UAE experience as Estimator / Cost Controller in civil construction or contracting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software; familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity take-off tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of contracts, tendering procedures, and cost control principles.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English.
