Job Purpose
Maintaining and running a manufacturing facility, responsible for establishing a maintenance regime in line with Aerospace industries and standards, supporting plant and industrial operations, and Installation of production, and facility equipment. Tasked with the continued servicing and repair required to support manufacturing and facility requirements.
The position requires creative independent problem-solving and decision-making skills, as the ability to resolve technical issues that relate to:
- Composite Honey Comb Machines
- Contamination Controlled Area
- Autoclaves
- Nitrogen Generators
- CNC Machines Shops
- NDT Inspection Equipment
- Painting Equipment
Key Accountabilities
- Rich experience in general facilities maintenance activities (HVAC Systems, Fire Alarm, and Fire Fighting systems, MEP, High Voltage systems, SCADA, BMS).
- Maintenance, Installation, Testing, and Process Improvements in Aerospace Composite manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Hands-on experience in different PLCs, Siemens Sinumerik systems, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, and Various Custom build Control systems.
- Responsible for preparing documents required for AS9000, NADCAP, ISO 9001, and ISO 14000 and possesses exposure to TS16949 & OSHAS-18001.
- Planning of Preventive, Predictive, Breakdown, Time based, and Condition-based maintenance of all the Plant Equipment.
- Vendor development and Inventory management for all machines and equipment in the Plant.
- Development of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in the Plant Engineering department to improve MTTR and MTBF of all the machines.
- Preparation of necessary documents to ensure compliance with AS9000, NADCAP, and ISO9000 quality standards & customer requirements.
- Delivering On job training for new engineers and skill development training for subordinates to increase the work efficiency of each individual.
- Directing, Leading, Motivating, and Man management of workforce to accomplish the given task within the stipulated time.
- Working Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) - SAP
- Scheduling and implementing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly analysis of breakdown and planned maintenance through TPM (WHY analysis, Fishbone diagram, Andon system, 5W, and 1H)
- Prepare timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and standards.
- Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services, and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
- Liaise with the HSEQ department for creating standard operating procedures
- Timely issue and send the incident reports to HSEEQ department
- Support the HSEQ staff in investigating the incidents
- Finalize and update the HIRA with the support of HSEQ staff
- Implement the risk control measures arising from the HIRA
- Conduct toolbox & SOP training whenever the supervisor is deemed incompetent about the topic
- Prepare the yearly schedule of toolbox and SOP training with support from HSEQ staff
- Ensure relevant emergency tests are conducted
- Comply with / support the company asset management strategy applicable to its contract
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- 6 - 8 years of experience in technical maintenance with exposure to Production Facilities Management especially in the Aerospace manufacturers (such as Airbus, Boeing, and Leonardo), Aluminum and Steel Fabrication companies.
- Hands on experience on CNC multiple axis machine reactive, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- CNC Machine electrical troubleshooting skill and CNC Machine geometrical calibration experience.
- Preventive maintenance activity schedule, execution.
- Siemens PLC hands on experience for troubleshooting.
- Autoclave/Oven equipment’s maintenance knowledge
- SAP ERP maintenance basic knowledge and experience.
