Job summary

A leading international contractor is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer in the United Arab Emirates to implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and over 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects. ADNOC Approval is highly preferred. The role includes conducting inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • ADNOC Approval is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in line with ADNOC and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct environmental inspections, monitoring, and audits at site.
  • Preparation of GHG reduction Plan and implementation.
  • Waste Management and Bolisity management
  • Ensure compliance with waste management, spill prevention, emissions, and wastewater controls.
  • Carry out environmental risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Investigate environmental incidents and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and submit environmental reports, records, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities on environmental matters.
  • Promote environmental awareness and support sustainability initiatives at site.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
  • ADNOC Approval is highly preferred
