Responsibilities

• Maintain complex Motor Control Centres and industrial electrical installations.
• Carry out maintenance works on control centres and associated devices.
• Troubleshoot system failures to minimize downtime.
• Install and test motor control centres when required.
• Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster.
• Carry out work within the UAE boundaries.
• Assist in condition surveys of Electrical systems.
• Comply with company EHS & Q regulations.

Education/Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate 10th Standard) is a must.


• Relevant Trade Certification is preferred.


• 6 months Vocational Education/1 year/2 years ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.

Skills/Competencies/Experience

• 6 months Vocational Education 3 5 years relevant experience.


• 1 year ITI 2 3 years relevant experience.


• 2 year ITI 0 2 years relevant experience.


• Preferably having experience in the industrial sector working on production machineries/process plants/power plants/cement plants/drydock etc as a servicetechnician handling large Motor Control Centres including PLCs & VFDs.


• Service Orientation and Ethics & Integrity.


• Reliability and Commitment.


• Basic communication skills and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.


• A reasonable degree of computer skills.


• Ability to work under pressure.

Must be in the age group between 25 and 35 years of age.

Must be physically fit to perform the required job.

Responsibilities

Responsible to maintain complex Motor Control Centres & associated industrial electrical installations, achieving the required/assigned targets of the work within the designated area of operations with minimum downtime meeting complete satisfaction of clients & end users.

Carry out preventive & corrective maintenance works of larger motor control centres and associated control devices connected to potable water & fire pumps diesel engines & industrial machineries power generators variable frequency drives programmable logic controllers auto transformers starter panels etc.

Troubleshoot system failures on all of the above equipment/systems/accessories with minimum downtime.

Installation of motor control centres & associated control devices and testing the installed systems when required.

Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster.

Carry out land and marine based work within the boundaries of the UAE.

Assist in condition surveys/snagging works of Electrical systems when required.

Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned from time to time.

Comply with company's EHS & Q regulations.
