Job summary

A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking a Site Engineer Electrical to oversee MEP projects. Responsibilities include supervising electrical installations, ensuring compliance with local authority regulations, and coordinating with project teams. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, and have experience in high-rise buildings. Job Title: Site Engineer Electrical (MEP Projects)

Location: UAE

Experience Required: 58 years in MEP construction (UAE experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and execute all electrical site works including power distribution, lighting, low current systems and cable pulling as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with DEWA/SEWA/ADDC regulations and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants and other engineering disciplines for smooth execution.
  • Monitor progress and quality of work to meet project deadlines and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues in coordination with the design and planning teams.
  • Prepare daily reports, track material usage and verify work as per ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).
  • Assist in testing & commissioning and support final handover documentation.
  • Ensure site safety and adherence to all HSE protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in MEP contracting.
  • Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial or residential projects.
  • Familiarity with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and site coordination tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
