Position Overview

As part of our Electrical Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions for complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Management: define electrical scopes with clients and participate in surveys when needed; plan resources, budgets, and schedules; join kick‑off meetings, support cost estimates, dout prepare installation instructions; monitor project progress, bounding regular reporting, and coordinate subcontractors; close projects with reports and lessons learned.
• Electrical Engineering: develop electrical design philosophy and perform detailed calculations (incl. ATEX/IEC Ex); review and validate drawings, BOMs, and technical documents; oversee procurement and ensure compliance of electrical equipment; support the team with technical guidance and enforce offshore standards; lead responses to client technical requests.
• Client Relationship: attend client/contractor meetings and maintain effective communication; ensure responsiveness, resolve project issues, and build trust; identify opportunities to support business development.

Profile

Educational Background

• Engineering Diploma, Master of Science or MBA in Electrical Engineering.

Industry Knowledge

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the Marine Offshore industry, especially on drilling rigs and Offshore Oil &ourcem Installations.
• Leadership/Management Webb Otly in a similar role.
• Experience in shipyard refurbishment projects is considered.

Essential Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of ATEX, IEC offshore installation standards, and Oil & Gas electrical installation requirements.
• Knowledge of Classification Society Rules (ABS / DNV) electrical requirements.
• Project Management qualification preferred (PMP, Prince2, etc.).
