Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models for EICT systems.
• Generate 2D drawings from E3D.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve model clashes.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and support procurement.
• Support site installation and commissioning.

Role Overview :

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an experienced EICT Designer (E3D Experienced) to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Telecom (EICT) design within the HVDC, high-voltage, or energy sectors, with proven expertise in AVEVA E3D design software.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain 3D models for EICT systems including cable routing, junction boxes, instrumentation panels, control cabinets, lighting, and earthing systems.
• Generate 2D drawings from E3D such as layouts, termination diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve model clashes and interface issues.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines to ensure design consistency.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and support procurement through Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support site installation and commissioning through redline markups and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, and IEC codes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of EICT design experience in HVDC or high-voltage / energy projects.
• Proficient in AVEVA E3D and related engineering design tools.
