Job summary

A leading space technology firm in Abu Dhabi seeks an EHS Officer to oversee environment, health, and safety programs across production facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe workplace by conducting hazard assessments, ensuring compliance with UAE EHS regulations, and leading training sessions. Candidates should have relevant certifications and experience, particularly in the field of safety management.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing Emergency Response Plans.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, high-power machinery, and production safety practices.
• Working knowledge of UAE labor and EHS laws.
• Familiarity with EHS management software for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular hazard assessments across manufacturing and assembly areas.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for safe equipment use.
• Ensure EHS compliance across office and laboratory spaces.
• Lead regular emergency drills and training sessions.

Skills

EHS Certification (NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, or equivalent)

Strong background in Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Proven experience in incident investigation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
