Overview

An ex-pat couple living in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a full-time, live-out housekeeper. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, with hybrid hours. The candidate would start at 6 / 6.30am and finish household all work within the home at around 12 / 12.30pm. Outside errands can be run throughout the afternoon.

As this a live-out position, an apartment will be provided for the candidate, along with a car.

They are very private people who both work from home. So, the candidate should be able to read a room, use good judgement and be proactive.

They have two Bengalindoor cats, and candidates must be comfortable working around them.

Responsibilities
  • All household duties including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, ensuring the kitchen is wiped down
  • Laundry - washing and ironing
  • Light food preparation to include weekly vegetable chopping; helping to keep the refrigerators clean and organized
  • Order groceries online
  • Run errands when needed - dry cleaning, etc
  • Researching and sourcing objects and products
  • Acting as a liaison with household vendors when needed
  • Assisting with caring for the cats; feeding and empty their litter boxes
  • Daily trash removal
  • Exterior of the property - sweeping, collecting leaves, and maintaining the outside furniture
  • The principals would like for the candidate to be able to assist with organizing services for the cars.
  • Assist with organizing decorating and interior design services for the home.
  • Assist with organizing maintenance - inform the principals when something needs repairing, supervising vendors, and reporting when the job is complete.

Requirements
  • Fluent English speaking
  • Driver, with a clean licence
  • The couple have two cats, so the candidate must be pet friendly
  • This is a gluten free household, and candidates must adhere to this to avoid cross contamination
