Our client, a newly created entity based in Abu Dhabi focused on the development and execution of an exciting and ambitions portfolio of projects and programs that support the long-term vision of the UAE, is currently seeking an Ideation Manager to lead on all ideation related activities including developing and implementing frameworks, tools, processes and leading the design thinking process from initiation to execution.

Reporting to the Research & Development Director, you will collaborate closely with project managers and the wider research team to ensure maximum efficiency of the project’s scope, purpose, objectives, timeline, and delivery approach. You will be confident engaging with stakeholders of all levels both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have a background in brand and innovation strategy with a focus on project ideation and UX Design and will be confident working on projects across a diverse range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the development and implementation of ideation and benefits realisation frameworks, tools, processes, policies, and templates.
• Take the lead on the initiation of the design thinking process in collaboration with project managers and relevant internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure high level of research is conducted to gain full understanding of the project’s scope, purpose, objectives, timeline, and delivery approach.
• Fully evaluate project scopes, objectives and identify potential improvement opportunities to maximise value and deliver the best results.
• Lead the brainstorming exercise of alternative and innovative approaches to projects and events delivery in collaboration with project managers, ideation partners, and relevant stakeholders.
• Organise and lead workshops to guide wider teams on project and event goals.

You will have a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in brand strategy, design thinking, project ideation and UX design. A Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Marketing, Product Management, or development is preferred.

Excellent command of the English Language is required, and Arabic language skills will be advantageous.
