Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Document Administrator as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position will be fully based at site due to the nature of the projects and client expectations.

Responsibilities
- Deliver project document control in accordance with project procedures for internal and external design documents, vendor documentation, and project correspondence.
- Ensure full compliance with Company Records Management requirements for controlled and non‑controlled documents.
- Perform transactional document control activities, including project filing, archiving, and preparation for final handover.
- Maintain accurate paper and electronic document flow within the project team and between contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Support the setup and use of team working areas for uncontrolled documents and collaborative sharing.
- Maintain and update the Document Control Systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare and issue document control performance reports, including document status, progress updates, and forecasts.
- Support external document control contractors with activities such as bulk uploads and document reclassification.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to project team members on document control processes and system use when required.

Expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of experience in document control/document administration within engineering, construction, EPC, or project management environments.
- Prior experience with EPC Contractors, Operating Companies, or Engineering Consultancies.
- Strong understanding of document control processes, project documentation standards, and workflow management.
- Familiarity with project management principles and contract-related documentation.
- Proficient in ACONEX and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multi‑discipline engineering, procurement, and construction documents
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and time‑management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage shifting priorities
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain document accuracy and integrity.
- Effective teamwork capability across multi‑disciplinary project teams.
- Strong leadership traits with the ability to support project interfaces when needed.
