Job summary

A regional logistics firm located in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Dispatch Operator to assist in daily dispatch operations, including material segregation, loading, and verification. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatch or logistics, strong MS Office skills, and be physically fit to work in outdoor environments. The role involves conducting inventory checks, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with forklift and crane operators, all while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatch, warehouse, logistics, or yard operations.
• Strong in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in large outdoor yards or industrial environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily dispatch operations, including material segregation, loading, and verification.
• Ensure correct material is loaded as per dispatch plan and delivery documents.
• Conduct physical inventory checks in the yard and update records accurately.
• Operate and maintain dispatch-related documentation using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Update dispatch data, stock movements, and reports in SAP (if applicable).
• Coordinate closely with Dispatch Coordinator and Dispatch Planner to execute daily dispatch schedules.
• Supervise and manage Forklift and Crane Operators during loading activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, making safety the top priority during all operations.
• Monitor material handling to prevent damage, loss, or incorrect dispatch.
• Maintain proper yard organization and housekeeping standards.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 of experience in dispatch, warehouse, logistics, or yard operations.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) – Mandatory.
• SAP experience is an advantage.
• Experience working in large outdoor yards, warehouses, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of inventory handling, material segregation, and loading processes.
