Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design System Designer to expand and scale an enterprise-grade Design System supporting the MIB2 program.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on system thinker with strong experience in scaling design systems across multiple platforms and aligning multiple design vendors under one unified framework.

You will play a critical role in ensuring consistency, quality, standardization, and scalability across Mobile, Internet Banking, Web, and Email experiences while acting as the central point of alignment between internal teams and external design agencies.

Design System Scaling & Governance

• Expand foundational capabilities of the existing Design System to meet the growing needs of the MIB2 program.
• Scale and evolve components, patterns, and design tokens across Mobile, IB, Web, and Email platforms.
• Ensure the Design System is robust, reusable, accessible, and enterprise‑ready.

Vendor & Stakeholder Alignment

• Facilitate and align multiple Design Agency vendors from concepting through delivery.
• Enforce consistent structure, standards, processes, and quality across all design outputs.
• Act as the Design System gatekeeper, ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices.

Standardization & Documentation

• Standardize components, foundations, and tokens (typography, spacing, colors, grids, etc.).
• Maintain clear documentation and version control within tools such as Figma and Design System documentation platforms.
• Drive adoption of the Design System across teams through clear guidelines and usage principles.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with product, UX, UI, and development teams to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
• Support QA and validation of components to ensure design integrity in production.
• Ensure alignment between design intent and development execution.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, with strong specialization in Design Systems.
• Proven experience scaling and maintaining Design Systems in complex, multi-platform environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, variants, and design tokens.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and system-driven design.
• Experience working with multiple vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and systems‑thinking skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in Financial Services or Banking environments.
• Experience working on enterprise or large‑scale transformation programs.
• Familiarity with agile delivery environments and tools such as JIRA, Storybook, Zeplin, or Git‑based workflows.
