Department Manager / Assistant Store Manager (UAE)

We are seeking experienced retail leaders to manage store operations, drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain inventory, and lead high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and drive team performance.
  • Maintain store standards, analyze sales data, and control costs.
  • Lead customer service, resolve complaints, and foster teamwork.
  • Develop and monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and manage procurement.
  • Implement merchandising strategies and optimize store layout.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support operational activities such as point‑of‑sale, order processing, and online platform management (Shopify).
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3–8 years of experience in retail or hospitality management.
  • 4–5 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager (for Majid Al Futtaim role).
  • Strong background in sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; strong communication and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, SAP, and e‑commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
