Job summary

A logistics company in Dubai is seeking candidates for a 3-month contract role that involves last-mile delivery tasks. Responsibilities include ensuring that packed items match customer orders, scheduling delivery appointments, and maintaining comprehensive records of all deliveries. The ideal candidate should be available to join immediately, possess conversational English skills, and have basic knowledge of smart tablets. Training will be provided for using smart tablets as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Ability to converse in English, other languages are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of using smart tablets and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packed items for delivery match customer orders and follow packaging guidelines.
• Contact customers for scheduling delivery appointments.
• Have comprehensive records of all orders and items.
• Perform last mile delivery tasks and operate electronic devices for GPS.

Job description

· You should be able to converse in English. Other languages are a plus.

· This is a 3 month's contract role. The Contract will start from the day you join us. There could be a possibility of extension, however there is no guarantee on it. It will depend on the business requirement and future plans. Currently the requirement is for 3 months.

· You should have basic knowledge on how to use a Smart tablet and its applications. Training related to the same will be provided.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the packed items received for delivery are as per customer order and observe all business guidelines about packaging.
2. Ensure the order has relevant information for delivery.
3. Contact customer for scheduling delivery appointment.
4. Ensure timely delivery to the customer premises.
5. Have a comprehensive record of all orders and items that go through the delivery.
6. Last Mile delivery works helping to ensure customer deliveries, activate services, collect payments/documents.
7. Operate an electronic device for GPS, activations and daily records.
