Job description
Responsibilities
Decontaminating and/or disinfecting surgical instruments and ancillary product using detergents, disinfecting solutions and washer‑disinfector machinery.
Identifying, maintaining and ensuring correct function and safety of surgical instruments.
Preparing instrument sets, packing supplementary items i.e. dressing set, suture set and etc. according to designated procedures and checklists; wrapping and sealing the instruments. Preparing lists of contents and maintaining control system for items processed.
