Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members and follow supervisor instructions.
• Rig and secure loads using appropriate equipment.
• Operate crane controls to lift and position heavy materials.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations for safety.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job description

• Operate different types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, according to job requirements
• Perform pre-operational checks and ensure all safety protocols are followed before and during crane operations
• Inspect and maintain crane equipment, reporting any defects or malfunctions to the relevant personnel
• Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and other technical documents to determine the appropriate crane and rigging techniques for each job
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Rig and secure loads to be lifted, using appropriate slings, chains, and other rigging equipment
• Operate crane controls to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations as necessary to ensure safety
• Keep accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents that occur
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local and federal regulations, at all times
