Job summary

A leading cost consultancy firm in Dubai is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Real Estate team. This role involves supporting the Commission Manager and delivering effective cost management services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, at least 4 years of experience, and strong knowledge of the Real Estate sector. Knowledge of CostX software and in-country experience are required. The firm promotes a flexible working environment with a focus on work-life balance.

Job Description

Join our Real Estate team in Dubai working on a wide range of projects, often large and complex, including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Hospitality, Leisure and Master Plan developments.

Projects are primarily new build but can also include fit‑out and refurbishment.

You will be part of a professional and ambitious team, receiving excellent support while having the opportunity to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
  • To support the Commission Manager, taking responsibility for allocated tasks.
  • To provide excellent service delivery to clients, gain their trust and enhance our reputation.
  • To ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service in pre‑contract stages.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Good knowledge of and experience in the Real Estate / Property sector working for a professional cost consultancy.
  • Solid experience and capability of pre‑contract services from feasibility through to tendering, measurement and pricing of building and preparation of Bills of Quantities.
  • Professional approach and confidence in performing your role.
  • Ability to work with contractors’ personnel with confidence and assurance.
  • Procurement experience would be an advantage as well as experience in client facing.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Knowledge of market prices and pricing of building works.
  • Taking personal responsibility for ensuring accuracy of work produced.
  • Assisting the commission lead to ensure accurate and timely production of information and reports.
  • Interfacing with the client, contractors and other consultants, where applicable.
  • A desire to progress your career to the next level.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • In‑country (UAE) experience is required.
  • Professional membership is an advantage (e.g. MRICS).
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry and technical matters.
  • Knowledge of CostX is required.
