Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail‑oriented Content Writer to create compelling content that supports our brand voice, promotes our global expos and engages our international audience. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a passion for the financial industry and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content across multiple formats and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high‑quality written content for digital marketing campaigns including website pages, emailers, press releases, social media posts, blogs and newsletters.
• Write clear, persuasive and SEO‑optimised copy to promote HQMena’s events, brand partnerships and exhibitor success stories.
• Collaborate with marketing, design and event teams to develop messaging aligned with each expo’s goals and target audience.
• Research industry trends in finance, fintech and trading to produce original and thought‑leadership content.
• Craft speaker bios, event highlights, agendas and promotional materials that align with our brand tone and positioning.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity and brand consistency.
• Assist in preparing event scripts, announcements and communication materials for on‑ground and virtual expos.
• Maintain a content calendar and deliver projects on tight deadlines in a high‑energy environment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in content writing, preferably within events, finance, fintech or media industries.
• Excellent command of English both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital marketing fundamentals.
• Ability to write in different tones for varied platforms (website, email, social media, brochures).
• Strong research skills and the ability to simplify complex financial topics for diverse audiences.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Familiarity with content tools like WordPress, Grammarly, Google Docs, and SEO tools (Yoast, SEMrush, etc.) is a plus.
