The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with composite fabrication. Plant-based role in Al-Ain

Reports to:

Engineering Team

Role Purpose:

Responsible for applying composite bonding techniques to bind honeycomb material between pre-preg sheets according to manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Execution
  • Assess design requirements based on customer templates.
  • Perform composite bonding and lay‑up operations.
  • Deliver high‑quality output with a strong first‑time‑right ratio.
  • Meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards.
SQCDP Compliance
  • Adhere to Safety, Quality, Cost, Demand, and People program requirements.
  • System & Process Compliance
  • Follow departmental policies and ensure controlled execution of composite lay‑up operations.
Change Management
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
QHSE & Risk Management
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and secure workplace.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role.
  • Education: High school diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent on‑the‑job experience.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of composite fabrication techniques.
  • Experience with hand tools (knives, scissors, measuring tools, laser projection).
  • Understanding of UD material, fiber orientation, and lay‑up techniques.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience with manual lay‑up and mold tool preparation.
Technical Competencies
  • Lay‑Up Techniques: Intermediate proficiency in lay‑up processes and tools.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Basic knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S principles.
  • Program Understanding: Entry‑level awareness of program requirements and KPIs.
  • Industry Awareness: Intermediate knowledge of composite manufacturing standards and trends.
Health & Safety:

Familiarity with ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, and local regulations.
