About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and talented Commis Chef – Bakery to join our dynamic culinary team at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai. In this role, you will assist in preparing high-quality bakery items, ensuring consistency and excellence in every product served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
  • Assist in inventory control and stock rotation.
  • Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Support the Chef de Partie and other team members in daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
