Qualifications

  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience in finance transactions from a reputable law firm or in-house role.
  • Strong drafting and analysis of commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity with UAE and Bahrain legal frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate digital asset loan agreements with financial institutions.
  • Manage complex commercial contracts in the digital asset space.
  • Support day-to-day commercial contracting with service agreements.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams on new business initiatives.
  • Monitor developments in the digital asset sector in MENA.
  • Train and uplift junior lawyers.

Skills

Responsibilties
  • Draft review and negotiate digital asset loan agreements including with traditional financial institutions and other digital asset organisations
  • Draft review and negotiate complex commercial contracts in the general digital asset space including anything from fiat ramps to marketing agreements
  • Support daytoday commercial contracting including service agreements and customer/supply side documents
  • Work closely and in harmony with product operations admin and risk teams to enable existing and new business initiatives across MENA and globally
  • Monitor interpret and provide updates on developments in the digital asset space in MENA
  • Help uplift and train our junior lawyers
Requirements
  • 36 years PQE with direct experience in loan/finance transactions gained from a global law firm or wellregarded inhouse organisation
  • Strong understanding and experience with drafting and analysing commercial contracts
  • Familiarity with MENA legal frameworks particularly in UAE and Bahrain
