Job Description

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Co-pilot /Assistant Director to join our existing Studio Operations Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Co-pilot /Assistant Director will be ensuring the Director’s requirements are met by managing set preparation and communications with talent and crew as necessary to support live and taped broadcasts.

Requirements
  • Preferably Bachelor of Arts in Communication or similar degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in live television studio production.
  • Maintains an overall understanding of the news and programming production process.
  • Proficient with basic use of computers, including E-mail, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • The ability to work on automation programs
  • Arabic language skills and cultural knowledge are highly desirable.
Key Accountabilities

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks: Meets daily with Directors to determine needs of upcoming shows and segments and ensures firm understanding of production requirements. Communicates Director’s requirements to the Anchors and Hosts. Ensures accurate, professional, and productive communication between talent and Director before and during broadcasts. Coordinate between the production and DirectorVisualising the scriptpay close attention to what is happening in one shot while getting ready for the next one plans both the daily schedule and long-term production timeline while also serving as a liaison between the director and the rest of the cast and crewDuring filming assistant director coordinates with presenters and extras to make sure that everyone is on set and camera ready.Responsible of countdown in the live and news showInsure all the production cues availableCoordinate the relation between the transmission and the gallery.Play the Graphics and the video on air and recording- programsKnow how the social media tactics and methods.
