Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our client s manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of machining practices, tooling and measurement techniques and must ensure product quality while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, VMC/HMC) to produce parts as per design specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work instructions to determine machining operations.
  • Load raw materials and tooling into machines and perform initial setups.
  • Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerance and quality.
  • Perform regular inspection of finished components using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production output, inspections and maintenance logs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards.
  • Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet targets and reduce downtime.
Essential Qualifications
  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related trade (Machinist / Fitter / Tool & Die).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience operating CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens or Haas.
