Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacistto join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. This position is within one of the UAE’s largest government-affiliated healthcare networks, recognized for delivering world-class patient care and operating state-of-the‑art medical facilities. The Clinical Pharmacist will provide expert medication management, collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams, and ensure safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities
  • Review, evaluate, and manage patient medication therapy in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Provide clinical advice on drug selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
  • Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as necessary.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about medication use, storage, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, policies, and national healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of pharmaceutical care.
  • Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical research, drug developments, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Valid UAE pharmacy license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ clinical pharmacy experience, including pediatric patient exposure preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and clinical guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
