Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and coordination of activities related to the design, development, operation, and maintenance of civil engineering projects. This includes overseeing staff members, contractors, and subcontractors; conducting site inspections; developing plans; coordinating materials supplies; monitoring project progress; ensuring adherence to safety standards; preparing cost estimates; resolving issues that may arise during the course of the project; and writing reports.
• Review building plans and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes, as well as review survey results, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, local zoning regulations, and other data to plan projects.
