Job Title: Civil Engineer – Estimation & Project Planning (G+4 Projects)
Role Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong estimation and project planning experience for mid-rise building projects (minimum G+4). The role combines cost estimation, project coordination, and site planning to support successful project delivery from tender stage through execution.
The candidate will work closely with the project management, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate budgeting, efficient scheduling, and smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates based on drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Perform quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in tender preparation and bid submissions.
- Maintain updated cost databases and rate analysis.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Support project managers in planning construction schedules.
- Assist in preparing project timelines and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules.
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
Technical & Site Support
- Review drawings and specifications for constructability.
- Assist in technical coordination between consultants, site teams, and subcontractors.
- Support material planning and procurement schedules.
- Ensure works are aligned with project scope and budget.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in civil construction.
- Experience in G+4 or larger building projects.
- Background in estimation, planning, or project coordination.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of: Quantity take-offs, BOQs and cost estimation, Construction methods for mid-rise buildings
- Experience with: Estimation software or Excel-based costing, Project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
