Job description

KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide support to Projects/Program Mangers in the agencies.
• Perform other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate.
• Coordinate with the concerned parties to follow up the implementation of the department' s operational plans related to projects and programs and ensure they are achievable and that related risks are identified.
• Reviewing updating all project information monthly on electronic systems relating to project follow-ups
• Assist on the development of the annual budget in coordination with the concerned parties.
• Review continuously planned and executed projects and program to ensure reports preparation and submit them on time to the concerned persons and PMO team.
• Follow-up and financial analysis in the strategic and operational plan, KPIs and budget for all activities related to the department to align with the strategic plan
• Ensure that project/program/portfolio management policies and methodologies are implemented and ensure compliance with PMO team directives.
• Participate in local and international awards
• Measure projects performance and benchmark, it against international best practices in coordination with PMO team.
• Follow up the completion of projects with the required budget and on time
• Preparing periodic reports on the completed work and comparing them with work indicators, statistics, data and difficulties that were overcome, observations and proposals for improving the work and submitting them to the director in the specific time
• Conducting a feasibility study for future projects from the financial and technical side and determining the benefits according to the approved policies in the authority
• Follow up the financial and contractual indicators with the concerned authorities
• Follow up the completed projects and prepare regular reports, establish a database for the completed and future projects in coordination with the concerned parties.
• Ensure the implementation of projects and program management policies and methodologies through following up with the concerned departments.
• Preparing reports, studies, benchmarking and best practices related to the use of new systems in monitoring the LA activities
• Identify interdependencies between Initiatives/projects and projects coordinators and ensure the assignment of a program manager in coordination with the concerned parties.
• Assist in reviewing and updating PM policies, methodology for the agencies and sectors in coordination with the concerned parties.
• Follow up the projects and programs implementation as per the approved schedules and submit periodic reports to the Agency CEO on programs and projects performance, risks and issues related to projects in coordination with the concerned parties
• Be the Point of contact / liaison point between Agency/Sector and PMO Team to manage projects and programs and meet the requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Information Technology/Computer Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized university
