Group COO – Operations & Systems Leadership
IBMC is assisting our client in hiring a Group COO to unify and scale operations across their entities in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Operational Leadership – Translate the group’s strategic vision into measurable operational frameworks and goals, define and manage group-wide KPIs and OKRs, and lead operational planning, forecasting, and execution to support group expansion.
- Full Process Audits – Conduct full process audits across Group companies to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Risk & Scalability Management – Continuously assess current processes and systems for scalability, build a forward-looking risk framework, and drive preventive actions to avoid growth disruptions.
- Process Optimization & SOP Development – Design, document, and roll out SOPs for all major operational domains (onboarding, customer success, marketing, HR, finance, development), enforce consistent standards, and monitor adherence.
- Systems Integration & ERP Implementation – Research and evaluate operational management systems, lead ERP vendor selection and implementation planning, and oversee integration of CRM, finance, HR, and trading systems into a single operational infrastructure.
- Cross-Entity Collaboration – Align Singapore (YPF), Hong Kong (FYFX), and Indonesia (support/ops) functions under a unified structure, standardize communication and reporting, and drive coordination.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight – Collaborate with the CFO to control operational costs, track efficiency ROI, introduce operational cost tracking, and oversee contract execution and invoicing processes.
- People Leadership & Culture – Build and mentor a high-performing operations and mid-management team, promote a culture of ownership, support HR with workforce planning and training, and align team development with group goals.
- Executive Collaboration – Partner with the CEO and CFO on strategic planning, risk management, operational budgeting, support due diligence and investor relations with operational reporting.

- ERP system researched, selected, and implemented within agreed timeframe and budget.
- Group-wide SOP coverage and adoption rate.
- Operational efficiency gains (turnaround time, cost-to-revenue ratio, process automation).
- Cross-entity reporting consistency and KPI visibility.
- Team productivity, accountability, and satisfaction.
- Achievement of group OKRs and operational targets.
- Client onboarding cycle time reduction and backlog reduction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Operations, or Systems Management.
- 8–12 years’ experience in operations, preferably within SaaS, fintech, or prop trading.
- Proven experience in ERP evaluation and implementation, process re-engineering, and SOP design.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience leading multi-country or multi-entity operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive measurable performance improvement.
- Location Requirement: This is a Bali-based position.
