We are looking for a talented Chef for our restaurant in Dubai. The successful candidate will be passionate about cooking, have extensive knowledge of international cuisine, and be able to work effectively under pressure.

Duties and responsibilities include:

1. Developing and creating innovative new dishes, as well as maintaining existing ones
2. Managing kitchen operations and ensuring quality standards are being consistently met
3. Ensuring all ingredients are fresh, of the highest quality, available in-house in accordance with health and safety regulations
4. Working with the restaurant manager to develop menus that appeal to customers
5. Training kitchen staff on best practices for food preparation, sanitation, and safety measures
6. Maintaining accurate stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
7. Overseeing the proper storage of food items according to health codes
8. Monitoring food costs, labor costs, stock control systems, etc.

The successful applicant must possess:

• Professional cooking qualifications or experience of a similar role in a professional kitchen (preferred)
• A passion for cooking with excellent knife skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when necessary
