An international airport management organization in Dubai is seeking a Category Specialist to assist with sourcing initiatives, including gathering market data and preparing RFPs. You will execute tactical sourcing with minimal support, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage complex purchase orders in Oracle. • Recommend suppliers based on evaluations and negotiations.
• Negotiate with suppliers and obtain approval of finalized contracts.
• Set up contracts and complex PO for strategic sourcing initiatives in Oracle.

• You’ll execute tactical sourcing and spot buys with minimal support from Category Managers
• You’ll recommend suppliers based on the evaluations and negotiations for tactical purchases and submit for approval as per delegation of authority
• You’ll negotiate with suppliers and obtain approval of finalized contracts
• You’ll set up contracts and complex PO for strategic sourcing initiatives in Oracle

What you bring

• You should be educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Procurement, acquired 6 months – 3 years of relevant experience and 3 – 5 years of overall experience
• You’ll have knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
• You’ll have advanced knowledge of Excel
