Overview

Front Desk Agent (Full-time). Property/ Workplace: Emirates Royal Residence, Abu Dhabi. Area: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities
  • Sign in arriving guests and check out departing guests in a friendly and caring manner according to the criteria.
  • Upon sign in, register visitor and assign rooms. Fit unique requests whenever possible.
  • If required, assist visitors in completing enrollment cards.
  • Use upselling techniques to market areas and other hotel services.
  • Validate guest's method of payment and comply with established credit-checking procedures or refer cash handling to cashiers.
  • Upon guest departure, process check-out procedures. Collect payment from guests. Clear guest account and provide a duplicate of the billing.
  • Manage front office cashiers' transactions such as posting charges to guests and exchanging foreign currency according to procedures. At the end of shift, balance the cash float.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a pleasant and caring fashion, by telephone or in person, provide/receive information and take appropriate action or refer to relevant persons.
  • Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping for late check-outs, early check-ins and special requests.
  • Possess working knowledge of room reservation procedures.
