A leading payment solutions firm in Dubai is seeking a Cards Program Management SME to oversee the launch and growth of their credit card products in the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in credit card product management, particularly within the consumer segment. Responsibilities include managing acquisition strategies, optimizing portfolio performance, and developing growth initiatives. This is a critical role requiring strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the scale-up of Amazon credit card post-launch.
  • Develop and implement product strategies to meet market needs.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the credit card portfolio.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the credit card business.
  • Monitor and manage credit risk and compliance with regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and sales teams.

Job Title: Cards Program Management SME

Term: 12 months

Location: Dubai UAE

Division: Payments

Reports to: Head of Payments

Relevant experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in credit card product management preferably in the consumer segment.

  • Experience in Card Launches in the UAE and scaling up the program including acquisition initiatives

Purpose of the Project

The Card Product will support the post-launch customer acquisition and ramp-up of spends for Amazons co-brand card in the UAE market.

Key Activities
Core Scope
  • Card Acquisition: Play a vital role in managing the scale-up of Amazon credit card post launch. This includes designing plus executing acquisition strategies and campaigns efficiently deploying funds tracking performance vs targets and finalizing ROI. The strategy will include both online and offline acquisition. Key aim of balancing growth with efficient fund deployment.
  • Product Management: Develop and implement product strategies and initiatives to meet the needs of with cross- functional teams including marketing sales and operations to launch and promote new products
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze the performance of the credit card portfolio including profitability utilization and customer satisfaction. Identify trends opportunities and risks within the portfolio and develop strategies to address them. Optimize pricing fees and rewards to maximize revenue and customer retention
  • Scaling the Business: Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the credit card business. Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to increase market share. Implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new clients and increase card usage
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage credit risk fraud risk and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to protect the business and customers
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including SME clients partners and regulatory authorities. Collaborate with sales teams to train and support them in promoting and selling SME credit card products

  • Growth in credit card portfolio (GDV)
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements
Knowledge and Experience
  • Strong understanding of the UAE market financial products and regulatory environment in the Middle East
  • Proven ability of scaling up credit card programs in UAE. Working on digital offline and 3rd party acquisition channels is an additional plus.
  • Excellent analytical strategic planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
