Job Description:

Our client, a leading diversified group headquartered in Dubai, is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead a group of companies' overall technology, AI integration, and digital transformation strategy. This role involves overseeing the entire IT landscape while driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all business units transforming traditional operations into smart, data-driven ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement the groups technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

• Lead the enterprise-wide adoption of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to optimise processes, improve productivity, and deliver competitive advantage.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, ERP integrations, and automation of workflows.
• Evaluate, select, and implement AI platforms, tools, and frameworks to meet sector-specific demands across education, healthcare, construction, oil & gas, and retail.
• Oversee the cybersecurity framework, ensuring full data protection and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, technology investments, vendor relationships, and digital risk assessments.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of developers, system engineers, cybersecurity experts, and AI specialists.

Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and digital-first thinking throughout the organisation.

• Report directly to the CEO on all technology and AI implementation KPIs.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, including 3 to5 years at C-level.
• Proven track record of implementing AI solutions, machine learning models, and digital platforms in complex environments.
• Expertise in cloud computing, enterprise systems, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of AI tools, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, OpenAI, Azure AI), and automation strategies.
• Ability to lead multi-sector digital strategy and align artificial intelligence capabilities with business outcomes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
