Amazon is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Africa Middle East Turkey (AMET) Delivery Service Partner business. This is a unique opportunity to own the development and account management of our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) business based in Dubai, U.A.E., and to collaborate with various internal teams to innovate and transform our processes to launch new delivery programs across the AMET region, creating opportunities for our DSPs.

This role will require some travel throughout the region.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. End-to-end ownership of UAE DSP recruitment and vetting of Delivery Service Partners.
  2. Develop a strategy to deliver results across core deliverables.
  3. Launch programs in partnership with internal stakeholders and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables.
  4. Develop a keen understanding of Amazon methods, working with the Partner Acquisition Business Development Team to launch Last Mile Delivery programs across the AMET region.
  5. Build collaborative and influential internal and external relationships with Product, Program, Field teams, and other critical stakeholders to gather information, set action plans, and monitor stakeholder engagement to improve program execution.
  6. Work with key stakeholders to understand program needs, launch timelines, and challenges to develop processes and deliver against the team roadmap for the launch of Delivery Partners in AMET.
Required Experience
  1. 5 years of developing program strategies and plans, influencing senior stakeholders.
  2. 5 years of defining and executing against program timelines and requirements.
  3. Bachelor's degree.
  4. Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic.
  5. Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.).
  6. 5 years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  7. 5 years of working with external suppliers.
  8. 5 years working in business development or sales roles with prior experience negotiating deals.
