Role: Business Development Manager-Tele Sales
Location: Dubai
Role Purpose: The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of telesales representatives in the sale of personal finance and covered cards via the phone in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a telesales agent or team leader in the UAE, as well as a strong understanding of banking sales origination and lead management systems.
Key Metrics
- Lead a team of telesales representatives in the sale of personal finance and covered cards.
- Set and track team sales goals.
- Provide coaching and training to sales representatives.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals.
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
Key Accountabilities of the role
- Monitor and track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all assigned leads to team are attended to by agents immediately.
- Performance Reporting and planning for team level targets.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing sales representatives.
- Oversee the development and execution of sales campaigns.
- Adhering to Compliance and ethical standards.
- Handle challenging situations and resolve conflicts within the sales team or with customer in a professional and effective manner.
- Performance reviews and feedback.
- Continuous learning and development.
- Market analysis and competitor insights.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales in the financial services industry in the UAE.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of banking sales origination and lead management systems.
- Business sales acumen.
- Compliance and Ethic knowledge.
Previous Experience
- Sales experience in banking.
- 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry.
- Experience in leadership and team management.
- Good to have banking system understanding.
