Role Overview

At Wio, we’re reimagining banking for a digital-first world — built around simplicity, innovation, and customer obsession. We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (Employee Banking) to join our Employee Banking team and play a key role in expanding Wio’s payroll ecosystem. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between Wio and our corporate partners — onboarding companies, building strong and lasting relationships with HR and Finance leaders, and ensuring every employer and employee experiences the effortless simplicity Wio is known for.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Drive the execution of employee banking and payroll acquisition strategies in line with Wio’s growth objectives.
  • Engage with HR, Payroll, and Finance decision-makers to present and promote Wio’s innovative salary account solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll onboarding, from company setup to employee activation, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide proactive account management and support to payroll clients — addressing needs, resolving queries, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of interactions, leads, and opportunities in line with Wio’s CRM processes.
What Are We Looking For
  • Mandatory: UAE banking experience of 3–5+ years in Employee Banking, Corporate Payroll, or Multi-Product Sales.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing corporate relationships, especially with HR and Payroll functions.
  • Deep understanding of employee banking products — including salary accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and related retail offerings.
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital-first environment, managing multiple clients with agility and precision.
  • Preferred Location: Abu Dhabi, where most of our key corporate partners are based (open to candidates from Dubai).
