To further strengthen our Sales team, we are seekingan experienced Business Development Executive who can provide us with a proven track record of SolarSales Closures across B2C (residential) and B2B (C&I) segments. It isimperative for the person in this position to have experience presenting,strategizing, and closing sales independently. In addition to generating theirown leads, this person should also follow up on existing company leads thatcome from our in-house marketing and lead generation efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifying potentialcustomers: You will be responsible for identifying potential customers who areinterested in installing solar panels or other solar products. This mayinvolve researching leads, attending industry events, or working withmarketing teams to generate leads.
- Developing sales strategies: You will need todevelop sales strategies that are specific to the solar industry. This mayinvolve identifying key selling points, understanding the benefits ofsolar energy, and developing a deep understanding of the products andservices that you are selling.
- Conducting site assessments: You may beresponsible for conducting site assessments to determine the feasibilityof installing solar panels or other solar products. This may involveworking with customers to gather information about their energy needs,assessing the site for sun exposure, and evaluating the potential benefitsof solar energy.
- Creating proposals: You will need tocreate proposals that outline the benefits of solar energy and thepotential cost savings for customers through Sharaf DG Energy’s internalsolar software ( training will be provided ).
- Closing sales: Your primaryresponsibility will be to close sales and generate revenue for yourcompany. This may involve negotiating contracts, overcoming objections,and persuading customers to make a purchase.
- Providing customer support: You will need toprovide customer support to ensure that customers are satisfied with theirproject delivery and its operations. This may involve answering questions,addressing concerns, and providing ongoing support after the installationis complete.
- Keepingup-to-date with industry trends: You will need to stay up-to-date with industrytrends, new products or services, and changes in government regulations relatedto solar energy. This will help you to provide the best possible service tocustomers and stay competitive in the market.
Requirements
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 yearsof experience in Sales / Deal Closures across Residential and/or C&I solarsegments.
Engineer in Electrical & Electronics/ Bachelor ’s degree.
Skills & Abilities
- As a member of Business Development Team, there are several software andskills and knowledge that will be required in your position:
- § Proficiency in Zoho CRM ( pipeline and leadmanagement )
- § Proficiency in MS Office
- § Market knowledge of competitive offers, rates,pricing
- § Market knowledge of solar regulations across Dubaiand other Emirates
- § Design skills in on-grid and off-grid solar PVsystems
- Besides,you shall be able to meet client(s) and attend site survey(s), thus,requirement of valid UAE driving license and a personal car aremandatory.
