Job Purpose

Emirates Group Facilities Management team, supports our extensive commercial hotels and residential property portfolios. Their aim is to constantly improve customer satisfaction and happiness through dedicated and quality service.

Role Overview

The role of Business Development Controller is to continuously identify, review and implement business process improvements, policies and procedures across the assigned business area to achieve the strategic and operational objectives. As well as, effectively deliver on all project Key Performance Indicators (KPI? ) and various efficiency measures as required.

In this role, you will:
  • Ensure continuous improvements in the level of the customer satisfaction for the business by carrying out qualitative research by benchmarking best practice prevalent in other similar sized ground handling organizations.
  • Provide innovation solutions by researching best practices for various business functions.
  • Hold frequent process and efficiency reviews across the team and collate information, suggestions and ideas.
  • Ensure that any issues highlighted by the team are resolved or escalated, with proactive suggestions.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and influencing in order to achieve the desired project outputs.
  • Be responsible for any communication and broadcast messages from the department to wider group and liaise with respective departments such as CCM&B, market research as relevant to ensure timely and accurate releases of all facilities updates.
  • Ensure that relevant reports are provided and that timely and accurate information is provided to support operational decisions.
  • Work with facilities management in setting up systems to evaluate business unit performance against KPIs.
  • Work with operational units across the business to identify areas of weak performance and support line managers in the design of performance improvement plans.
  • Leverage the learnings from areas of high performance to suit other operating sections within the business.
  • Ensure benefits from every improvement program are fully maximized and that all business improvement objectives are achieved in relation to financial and qualitative deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in business process improvement methodology and best practices in the ground handling industry, including learning from other market leaders in the industry.
Qualification

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • Experience: 5+ years experience in Information Technology or Network
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience in Business Improvement concepts, communication plans, Business Process and Business planning and performance measurement.
  • Working knowledge of Business Improvement principles and tools.
  • Must have good communications skills (oral, written and visual representations), for effective conveyance of recommendations and ideas.
  • Must be resourceful and possess inter-personal skills.
  • Well-developed written skills in relation to report, policy, process and procedure documentation.
  • Good working knowledge in the area of data and message communications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
