The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the breeding programs and ensuring optimal herd reproduction and genetics management. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of dairy cattle breeding practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all breeding operations within the dairy herd.
• Monitor and record heat detection, insemination, and pregnancy results.
• Perform or oversee artificial insemination (AI) procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate breeding and health records for each animal.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and nutritionists to optimize reproductive health.
• Train and guide farm staff on breeding protocols and handling practices.
• Ensuresecurity, hygiene, and animal welfare standards are strictly followed.
• Analyze reproductive performance data and report to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in animal science agriculture, or related field.
