Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled professional for BMS installation and management. You will ensure efficient project execution, manage installations, and liaise with clients and consultants. The ideal candidate has a degree in relevant engineering fields, 3-5 years of hands-on experience with BMS systems, and strong communication skills. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working experience of instrument mounting, BMS programming, and maintenance.
• Experience in configuration and verification of building management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient project execution throughout the project life cycle.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project management team.
• Perform site management for installations, inspections, and commissioning of BMS system.
• Create BMS interface design and programming using Modbus or BACnet.

Skills

Ability to build and install BMS systems

Solid knowledge of different BMS systems

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hands-on experience for on-site troubleshooting

Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

Ability to work under limited supervision

Education

Experience

• 3-5 years working experience of instrument mounting, setup, configuration and verification, BMS programming, services, LS and maintenance

Skills

• Ability to build and install BMS system to monitor and regulate various building services, including chillers, heat exchangers, ACMV, lighting and power metering, etc.
• With a solid knowledge of different BMS systems, such as system architect, controller programming, on‑site testing, and commissioning of sensors or meters
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Hands‑on experience for on‑site equipment troubleshooting
• Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams
• Ability to work under limited supervision

Responsibilities

• To ensure that all project activities are efficiently and cost‑effectively executed throughout the project life cycle
• To liaise with the clients, consultants, project management team, sub‑contractors, and technology providers
• To perform site management for the installation works, inspections, testing and commissioning, and handover of BMS system to clients
• To create BMS interface design, implementation, setup and programming using Modbus, BACnet or other protocols
• Any other ad‑hoc work as assigned

License
