Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of bartenders and servers.
- Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, quality control, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to maintain high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus and beverage programs to enhance guest experience
- Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and regulations
- Manage bar inventory, place orders, and control costs to maximize profitability
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall Food & Beverage operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in scheduling and staffing to meet business demands
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for all beverages served
Qualifications
- College diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bar management or supervisory role
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and current beverage trends
- Strong understanding of bar operations, inventory management, and cost control
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with UAE liquor laws and regulations
- Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP) is preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Must be eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates
